Mise En Scene

Today in my media i lernt about Mise En Scene.
Mise En Scene is what you put in the frame of your clip/picture.
We looked at:
Settings & Props,
Lighting & Colour,
Positioning of Characters & Objects Within a Frame,

We also took some pictures of:
A unrule Class,
A busy Office,
A dentace watingroom,
A romantic Cafe,

Settings & Props
Setting's are very really background's to the characters' dialog. The Setting's can be used to manipulate the audence.
Props' are objects that are used in a peace of action.

Lighting&Colour
With lighting you will have a briter light on a more inportant charicter/object then anything else to make it stand out even more. By shading section's of the charcter's face/body to make the mood more mysterious. By useing a strobe effect(flashing bright and dark) it will make the audence think the character's is in a confused state.
The colour help's make the mood along with the lighting.

Positioning of Characters & Objects Within a Frame
Positioning of Characters is very inportant because if u have a character in the middle of nowere and the scene is baced in a huge mantion with million pound furncher.
When it come's down to placing object's it would not look to good to have a fireplace of a piano in the middle of a hay field or a bunddle of hay in the middle of a million pound manshon were the piano/fireplace.

This is what we learn't on the 22/09/09
